President Marks Malta’s Independence Day In Valletta

President Myriam Spiteri Debono attended the Independence Day Celebrations in Valletta this early afternoon, accompanied by Heads of State and other important political figures.
First, they attended the special mass held at the St John’s Co-Cathedral, with Archbishop Charles Scicluna delivering a special holy addressing the 62nd anniversary since Malta’s independence.
The Armed Forces of Malta held their parade outside, with the disciplined forces saluting the President as she continued to carry out the ceremonial visits of the day.
