Popular Reality Show ‘The Traitors’ Is Coming To Malta In January 2027

The internationally popular reality TV show The Traitors is officially getting a Maltese version, coming to TVM in January 2027.

Get ready for secrets, lies, drama and plenty of suspicion, as one of the world's most popular reality TV formats makes its way to Malta.

But how does the show actually work?

The concept is simple. A group of contestants enters a competition where some are secretly chosen to be the Traitors, while everyone else is known as the Faithful.

The Traitors must lie, manipulate and hide their identities, while the Faithful must work together to figure out who is secretly working against them.

The catch? Nobody knows who they can really trust.

Throughout the competition, contestants form friendships, build alliances and try to convince others that they're telling the truth, even when they're not.

It's essentially a real-life game of deception, where being good at reading people could make all the difference.

The internationally successful format has already attracted audiences around the world, combining strategy, psychology and unexpected twists.

Now, Maltese viewers will get to experience their very own version.

The Traitors Malta will be produced locally by greatt Company Limited, based on the original All3Media format.

The show is officially set to premiere on TVM in January 2027, although further details about the contestants have yet to be announced.
