A very special moment at the Vatican today as the Malta Men’s National Football Team had the opportunity to meet His Holiness Pope LEO XIV.
‘The Malta Men’s National Football Team and the delegation led by MFA President Bjorn Vassallo and National Team Coach Emilio De Leo, had the honour of attending a Papal Audience and Blessing with His Holiness Pope Leo XIV.’
‘Accompanied by H.E. Frank Zammit, Ambassador of Malta to the Holy See, the delegation presented His Holiness with the 125th Anniversary Commemorative National Team Shirt, marking this historic milestone in Maltese football.’
