As election tensions rise, listings to buy political flags are becoming all the more common.
Many are suspecting the announcement for the next general election to take place soon, with a number of rumoured dates floating around the Maltese public and social media.
Speculation was further heightened following the Labour Party’s six day congress, themed “Malta Aqwa: Ikteb il-Kapitlu Li Jmiss,” which concluded on the 17th of April with a speech by PM Robert Abela.
Election climate is also making its way into Maltese stores, with political and national flags going on sale within the current climate.
