Polish Minister Thanks Maltese For 13 Year Old Girl Search Mission

In a statement, Deputy Prime Minister Ian Borg shared a photo showing Polish Minister for Foreign Affairs Radosław Sikorski approaching the Malta contingent to thank them for their efforts in the recent tragedy involving a 13 year old girl having been swept out to sea.

‘The Polish Minister crossed the room to thank the authorities and all the Maltese for their assistance to the Polish family in the tragic incident that took place this week in Ċirkewwa’, wrote Borg.

This was in reference to a 13 year old girl who was unfortunately found deceased after an intense search and rescue operation that began on Monday evening.

The girl’s body was found by Civil Protection Malta divers, bringing an intense search operation to a close.
