Police Often Find Themselves In Situations Many Civilians Never Will, Says Minister

In a comment to Malta Daily, Minister for Home Affairs and Security Glenn Bedingfield said that members of Malta Police Force very often find themselves in situations that some civilians never have to face.
Bedingfield was referencing the recent incident, which circulated on footage on social media, of three police officers being assaulted by an individual who was resisting arrest.
Such incidents, said Bedingfield, makes one appreciate just how demanding the job of an officer is.
He added that whenever the police force requests support or resources, he offers it no questions asked, along with his political backing to ensure their safety on the job.
