Police Officer Praised For Helping Boy With Autism During Accident

The Malta Police Force shared a heartwarming story of a police officer who helped out during a minor accident involving a parent and a son with autism.
PC Hertian Vassallo approached the crash tie with patience and empathy, giving the son, who was panicking along with his guardian, due to the circumstance.
Giving him a small token, a police keychain, PC Vassallo helped settle down the son and encourage him to enter the school.
The parent sent an email of thanks to the police, saying that after such a stressful and difficult morning, the gesture meant a lot and provided a lot of much needed comfort.
