Police Catch 4 Drunk Drivers, 7 Without Licences & 17 Speeding Last Night

During the night, the police carried out routine checks on various roads across Malta.
In the localities of Ħaż-Żebbuġ, Marsa, Msida, and St Julian’s, officers detected four drivers under the influence of alcohol, while seven others were found driving without a valid licence.
During the same inspections, 17 vehicles were recorded exceeding the permitted speed limit, and a further 75 offences were issued for various other traffic violations.
The traffic checks were also supported by LESA officers.
The Police Force remains committed to conducting regular traffic checks at all times of the day to ensure the safety of everyone using our roads.
