Point 2 Point is an inspiring charity event aimed at supporting families benefiting from Hospice Malta and The Children in Need Foundation.

Daniel Abela, Douglas Barbaro Sant, and Joseph Casha, three lifelong friends, have joined forces to create the event. The trio is channeling their passion for sport into making a tangible difference in the lives of vulnerable and disadvantaged members of the community.

Point 2 Point is inspired by the hard work of organisations like Hospice and The Children in Need Foundation who strive to improve the lives of those going through a difficult time.

The event seeks to raise both funds and awareness for its chosen causes. The journey begins with a 15 km run through Gozo, giving participants the chance to immerse themselves in the island’s natural beauty.

Following the run, Abela, Barbaro Sant, and Casha will take on a 6 km swim across the Comino Channel. This is a demanding open-water swim from Gozo to Malta that will require determination, teamwork, and endurance.

The final leg of the event features a 60 km coastal cycle across the Maltese mainland, concluding in Birżebbuġa. Participants will enjoy Malta’s stunning scenery along the way, before cycling to Hospice Malta’s headquartersfor a symbolic visit, marking the end of this remarkable journey.

Through Point 2 Point, the creators aim to inspire their community to give back, demonstrating how sport can be a powerful vessel for change.
