PN To Publish Audited Accounts In Coming Days, Says Alex Borg

Opposition Leader Alex Borg has confirmed that the Partit Nazzjonalista will publish its audited accounts for the past four years in the coming days, marking his first 100 days at the helm.

Interviewed in Gozo by RTK103 and Newsbook presenter Matthias Mercieca, in an interview broadcast on Net Television, he said that transparency was a central pledge of his leadership bid and stressed that the PN would continue leading by example.

Borg also highlighted another early commitment that has already been delivered, namely the launch of the PN’s crowdfunding initiative.

He expressed gratitude to supporters for helping raise €15,000 within days to produce the party’s first political podcast, which he described as an important new platform for open discussion and ideas.

The next phase of the crowdfunding campaign will focus on raising funds for the National Convention, an event intended to foster a nationwide debate on Malta’s future.

He said that these initiatives show that the PN is rebuilding its foundations through openness, public engagement and renewed political energy, giving people a real sense of hope and involvement in shaping the country’s direction.
