PN Supporters Gather At Dar Ċentrali As Borg Says Party Ready For Early Election
Supporters of the Nationalist Party gathered outside Dar Ċentrali to show support for leader Alex Borg following the announcement of an early general election.
Addressing those present, Borg said the party is prepared for the election, which Prime Minister Robert Abela has indicated will be held on 30 May, earlier than expected.
Borg told supporters that the PN is ready to contest and framed the moment as a key test for the party.
The Nationalist Party is also set to hold a mass rally tomorrow at 6:30pm outside its headquarters, as it steps up preparations ahead of the vote.
