Nationalist Party and Opposition Leader Bernard Grech has stated that if elected, a PN Government will provide free contraception and morning-after-pill to citizens aged over 16 in an attempt to reduce demand for abortion.
In a string of recent Tweets, Grech stated that the PN is ‘in favour of adopting all measures necessary to provide the best possible sexual health services; without endangering the lives of unborn children’.
Grech maintained his stance against MP Marlene Farrugia’s abortion criminalisation bill stating that “life has value from conception till death” and went on to state the he wants to listen to women and the challenges they face when seeking abortions.
