PN Proposes ‘Calming Rooms’ On Gozo Ferries For Kids Struggling With Anxiety

Speaking during a conference organised by MEP Peter Agius, PN Leader Alex Borg proposed retro-fitting all passenger Gozo Ferry vessels with ‘Calming Rooms’.

These rooms would be dedicated most specifically for children who suffer from anxiety or were diagnosed with ADHD, autism or with other forms of neurodivergence.

These rooms would make it easier for these kids to make the Gozo Channel crossing, also helping parents and guardians in their voyage.

This comes as the PN proposes the complete discharging of the MV Nikolaus and instead investing in a new vessel for passengers as well as another for mercantile reasons.
