The Nationalist Party today unveiled a set of social and economic proposals designed to ease financial pressures on families, during a press conference held earlier.

Among the key measures announced is a proposal to exempt from tax any income earned by families who host foreign students. The initiative is intended to encourage more households to participate in international student exchange and accommodation programs, while also providing an additional, tax-free source of income.

In a separate but related measure, the party also proposed the introduction of a tax credit for parents who temporarily leave the workforce to care for their children and the students.

According to the proposal, eligible parents would receive tax credit support for a period of up to three years, helping to offset the financial impact of stepping away from employment.

The Nationalist Party stated that these measures aim to strengthen family support systems, promote educational exchange, and offer greater flexibility for parents balancing work and childcare responsibilities.
