PN Promises New School Every Year And New Trade Skills Centres

Alex Borg, joined by his partner Sarah Bajada, addressed a political discussion in Ħaż-Żebbuġ centred around the theme of education, outlining a number of proposals aimed at strengthening Malta’s educational infrastructure and practical learning opportunities.

During the discussion, Borg pledged that a new school would be built every year, with all new educational facilities designed to meet high environmental standards. He explained that the schools would make use of renewable energy, intelligent water storage systems, and sustainable water usage practices.

The proposed schools would also feature modern sports facilities and open spaces aimed at promoting both the physical and mental wellbeing of students.

Borg also announced plans to establish specialised trade and skills centres equipped with modern facilities. These centres would serve as a bridge between education and employment, while directly addressing the shortage of workers in key sectors through practical training and hands-on skills development.
