PN ORGANISE NEW PROGRAMME TO EMPOWER WOMEN IN POLITICS

The launch of the “Take a Step Forward” programme took place today at the AZAD building in Valletta, aiming to provide training in leadership skills and political knowledge for women interested in participating in public life.

Organised by the Nationalist Party through its Women’s Movement (MNPN), the programme will run over four weeks and cover areas including communication and media, legislative processes and governance, ethics in leadership, as well as electoral strategy and digital campaigning.

The initiative represents a concrete step towards strengthening women’s participation in politics and fostering a more representative and effective leadership for Malta. By equipping participants with practical skills and knowledge, the programme seeks to empower women to contribute meaningfully to the political sphere and public decision-making.
