Newly elected PN MP Miriana Calleja Testaferrata de Noto shared a touching tribute to her late mother today on social media.

“Ma, I’ve come to speak with you a bit,” she stated.

“This is supposed to be one of the best moments of my life, but it’s like I’m feeling something missing,” continued Miriana.

“I can’t celebrate how I’m supposed to, because I can’t share this moment with you,” she expressed sadly.

She went on to explain how during the campaign, Miriana truly felt her mother’s presence close to her heart, but now she’s questioning how her mum would respond to the result.

“If you were here, what would you say to me? How would you feel?”

Miriana proceeded to tell her mother how much she loves her, asking her to remain present during this journey.
