PN Leader Alex Borg Turns 31 Today

Nationalist Party Leader Alex Borg turns 31 today, after marking his birthday through two separate events: a community gathering held a few days ago and a fundraising marathon organised yesterday evening, which raised €153,616 for the party.
The community event brought together supporters, party members, and families, with Borg later saying that the gathering reflected a vision he has held since becoming leader of the Nationalist Party: creating spaces where people can meet, build friendships, and feel part of a collective journey.
In a message shared following the event, Borg said he was pleased to see this vision becoming a reality, adding that strengthening a sense of community has remained one of his main priorities since taking on the party leadership.
During yesterday evening’s fundraising marathon, organised on the eve of his 31st birthday, Borg said the funds collected will help the Nationalist Party continue its work and strengthen its voice through investments in new equipment for NET FM. He said the PN must make use of every available tool to reach more people and remain connected with the public.
The PN leader also reiterated his commitment to ensuring the party continues to engage with communities across Malta and Gozo, announcing that further activities are planned as part of a wider summer programme aimed at bringing together people from different generations.
Borg said he intends to spend his birthday in the way he enjoys most, among the people, while thanking those who supported the events.
At 31, Alex Borg is among the youngest leaders of a major political party in Europe, having taken on the leadership of the Nationalist Party with a focus on renewal, community engagement, and greater public participation.
