Alex Borg has reportedly begun appointing his shadow cabinet.
The Nationalist Party leader reportedly started summoning MPs to meetings at party headquarters on Wednesday morning.
Shadow ministers scrutinise the work of their government counterparts and act as the party’s spokespersons in their respective portfolios.
This comes a week after the PN’s full parliamentary group was confirmed, following casual elections and the addition of six MPs through Parliament’s gender corrective mechanism.
Later, the PN is expected to begin the process of appointing or confirming its leader at a General Council meeting, as required by party statute after a general election.
