PN Leader Alex Borg Presents “Nifs Ġdid” Vision at Naxxar Rally Ahead of Election

At a political activity in Naxxar, Alex Borg, Leader of the Partit Nazzjonalista (PN), delivered a strong message as candidates for the 10th district were presented, framing the upcoming election as a choice between “those who created the problems and those who are coming forward with solutions.”

Borg outlined a series of concerns regarding government transparency and public finance, claiming that official statistics on government debt had been withheld from publication. He also referred to reports from the European Central Bank indicating significant levels of government borrowing in recent months. According to Borg, these developments raise serious questions about economic management and credibility.

He emphasised the PN’s vision under the “A Fresh Start” campaign, arguing that the party is presenting a clear alternative plan focused on improving quality of life, strengthening governance, and addressing long-term structural challenges. Borg also reiterated PN commitments including investment in open spaces, environmental planning reforms, and infrastructure improvements such as transport solutions and urban planning measures.

Several PN candidates addressed the gathering, highlighting themes such as social justice, healthcare, youth opportunities, governance, and economic development. They collectively urged voters to support the PN in order to deliver what they described as a renewed direction for Malta.

Borg concluded by calling on voters to make their choice on Saturday, stating that the PN offers a vision based on solutions and reform, while urging supporters to help deliver “A Fresh Start” for Malta and Gozo.
