PN Leader Alex Borg Meets Students At M. A. Refalo Sixth Form In Gozo

Nationalist Party Leader Alex Borg visited Sir M. A. Refalo Sixth Form in Gozo at the start of the new academic year, where he met with the school’s management, teachers, students and staff to discuss the challenges and priorities facing the education sector.
During the visit, Borg met Head of School Frankline Zammit Galea and toured the different departments of the Victoria-based institution, speaking directly with educators and members of staff about their experiences and the changing needs within schools.
Discussions focused on the importance of ensuring that students receive the necessary support to continue progressing in their studies, while educators are provided with the right conditions to carry out their work effectively.
Borg praised the dedication of the teachers and staff at Sir M. A. Refalo Sixth Form and wished both educators and students a successful academic year.
Following the visit, the PN Leader said that the quality of Malta’s education service must continue improving to meet the needs of students and educators. He said schools must be equipped to address the challenges faced by both groups and ensure that students have the support needed throughout their educational journey.
The visit formed part of a series of visits by Borg and PN officials to educational institutions as the new academic year gets underway. Earlier on Friday, PN Deputy Leader Alex Perici Calascione and Shadow Minister for Education and Citizenship Jerome Caruana Cilia visited the Higher Secondary School in Naxxar.
