PN Created An Earthquake With Its Proposals, Says Alex Borg

Alex Borg addressed supporters during a mass rally in Mosta on Sunday evening, outlining the Nationalist Party’s vision for Malta and promising greater investment in green open spaces across the country.
Borg told supporters that voters should hold him accountable for delivering more public spaces and improving residents’ quality of life.
He criticised the Labour Party for calling an early election, arguing that it expected the PN to be unprepared. Borg insisted, however, that the opposition is ready with strong proposals and a clear plan for Malta’s future. He also accused the government of failing to complete a full five year term and not fulfilling its promises to the public.
Discussing population growth, Borg warned that Malta’s infrastructure would struggle to cope if the population rises to 800,000.
He said the PN plans to establish a dedicated authority to address the issue while strengthening schools, hospitals, security, and national infrastructure. Borg noted that Malta already has around 170,000 foreign residents.
The PN candidate also claimed that Prime Minister Robert Abela and the Labour Party are attacking the opposition because they fear its proposals, including plans to remove inheritance tax on property and family business transfers.
