PM Visits Elderly At New Gozo Residential Home

Prime Minister Robert Abela has inaugurated Casa Giuseppe, a newly completed care and retirement home in the heart of Victoria, Gozo.
He was accompanied by the Minister for Gozo and Planning Clint Camilleri and the Minister for Health and Active Ageing Jo Etienne Abela.
The €6.4 million private investment provides a modern, high-quality facility designed to offer comfort, safety and dignity to older residents.
During the visit, the Prime Minister toured several areas of the residence, including the rooms that will house its residents. These are equipped with the latest technology and amenities aimed at supporting both independence and wellbeing.
Casa Giuseppe also includes a rooftop garden intended to create a peaceful and natural environment, along with spaces dedicated to mental wellbeing. The building was designed with sustainability in mind, ensuring that the home meets modern standards while remaining environmentally responsible.
The Prime Minister met residents in the Każin, the communal area where daily activities take place. He listened to their experiences and highlighted how the home fosters a sense of community.
Casa Giuseppe will accommodate 121 residents and employ more than 90 professionals.
