PM Robert Abela Visits Family-Run Business 'Eman Patisserie' In Gozo

Prime Minister Robert Abela visited a family-run business, met with the Victoria Local Council and toured Dar Emmaus during a series of engagements in Gozo focused on economic growth, local communities and social support.
Accompanied by Gozo Minister Clint Camilleri, Abela began his visit at Eman Patisserie, a family business that has been operating for 33 years.
Speaking with the owners, he praised their entrepreneurial spirit and described family-run businesses as an important part of Gozo’s economy and community identity.
The Prime Minister later met Victoria Mayor Brian Azzopardi and local councillors to discuss the locality’s priorities, residents’ concerns and ongoing collaboration between the government and local councils.
Abela also visited Dar Emmaus, an emergency shelter supporting homeless adults and victims of domestic violence.
During the visit, he highlighted the government’s continued investment in vulnerable people, with more than €565,000 allocated to the shelter through a partnership agreement covering the 2025–2027 period.
