PM Robert Abela Visits Creative Teams Behind Malta Vision 2050 Immersive Experience

Prime Minister Robert Abela visited the creative teams developing the immersive experience for Malta Vision 2050, a first-of-its-kind installation set to welcome the public in the coming weeks.

The experience will be housed in a purpose-built art installation at the entrance of Valletta, designed to introduce both locals and tourists to Malta’s national foresight project for the next 25 years. Blending cinematic storytelling with advanced digital scenography, the installation will combine large-scale projections, animated sequences and spatial sound design to transform the venue into a dynamic, evolving visual canvas.

During the visit, the Prime Minister was guided through the creative and technical workflow, observing live demonstrations of visual composition, scene integration and high-end rendering. Previews of key sequences highlighted the scale and ambition of the project.

Leading the visual development is Stargate Studios, responsible for the animated sequences and overall cinematic integration. The immersive soundscape and original score are being crafted by composers Elton Zarb and Kevin Abela.

The experience will officially open to the public following the Malta Vision 2050 launch event at Triton Square on February 27th.
