PM Robert Abela To Vacate 2nd District Seat While DPM Ian Borg Gives Up 7th District

At the first meeting of the National Executive of the Labour Party, held jointly with the Parliamentary Group after the general election, it was decided where casual elections shall be held.
By secret ballot at this meeting, the National Executive decided that the casual election for Prime Minister Robert Abela’s seat, elected from the second and fifth districts, shall be held in the second district.
The casual election for Chris Fearne’s seat, elected from the third and fourth districts, shall be held in the third district.
The causal election for Ian Borg’s seat, elected from the sixth and seventh districts, shall be held in the seventh district.
The casual election for Clyde Caruana’s seat, elected from the second and eighth districts, shall be held in the eighth district.
The casual election for Clifton Grima’s seat, elected from the ninth and tenth districts, shall be held in the ninth district.
The casual election for Michael Falzon’s seat, elected from the ninth and tenth districts, shall be held in the ninth district.
The casual election for Miriam Dalli’s seat, elected from the fifth and eleventh districts, shall be held in the eleventh district.
The casual election for Jonathan Attard’s seat, elected from the fourth and twelfth districts, shall be held in the twelfth District.
