PM Robert Abela To Contest On The 2nd And 5th District This Upcoming General Election

Prime Minister Robert Abela has officially submitted his nomination for candidacy in the upcoming general election.
Malta will be heading to the polls on the 30th of May 2026 to choose the country’s next leader.
Abela will be contesting on the second and fifth district, which are the same districts he contested in back in 2022.
Additionally, Opposition leader Alex Borg is set to contest the next general election on both the 12th and 13th electoral districts.
