PM Congratulates Alex Agius Saliba On S&D Vice-President Re-Election

Prime Minister Robert Abela congratulated Alex Agius Saliba for his re-election as Vice President of the Socialists and Democrats in the European Parliament.
‘Today, you once again showed what it truly means to stand up for your country and defend its reputation’, wrote Abela. ‘Keep up your valuable contribution to Malta and its people.’
Speaking to Malta Daily, Agius Saliba expressed his gratitude for the re-election, making this his third mandate as part of the second largest group in the European Parliament.
This means it comes with more responsibility, as he will now continue to lead the work in social housing, digital laws and various other concerns.
