Planning Authority Takes Action Against Illegal Marsalforn Coastal Development

The Planning Authority has reiterated its commitment to taking swift action against all forms of illegal development, particularly in environmentally sensitive coastal areas.
Following reports regarding works carried out in Marsalforn, the Authority’s Enforcement Officers immediately intervened and were on site by 7:30 a.m.
The removal of material that had been illegally placed on the site began shortly afterwards, with action taken to ensure the area is restored to its original condition as quickly as possible.
The Planning Authority confirmed that the restoration works are being carried out without delay, while the case continues to be followed in accordance with the established procedures and applicable regulations.
