Planning Authority Condemns Bullying & Intimidation

The Planning Authority has issued a statement reaffirming its commitment to open dialogue while condemning intimidation and harassment in the strongest terms.

It said it remains dedicated to providing a platform where “all individuals can freely express their concerns and opinions”, but stressed that “personal attacks and acts of intimidation will not be tolerated under any circumstances”.

The Authority referred to a recent court judgment involving the bullying and intimidation of a member of one of its Planning Commissions, noting that the case highlights the seriousness with which such behaviour is viewed.

It stated that it “stands firmly against any form of harassment” and is prepared to take all necessary measures to safeguard its members’ wellbeing.

In its closing remarks, the Planning Authority urged all stakeholders to engage in respectful and constructive discussion.
