PL Candidate & Bayern Munich Fan Roderick Zerafa Jokes About Champions League Final Clashing With Election Date

Rodrick Zerafa, a PL candidate who happens to be a big supporter of German football team Bayern Munich had something to say about the date of the upcoming election.
On the 30th of May, Malta will be heading to the polls to vote in the general election, and at the same time, the Champions League final will be taking place.
A local Facebook group “Ritratti Leġġendarji,” shared a photo of Zerafa when his team beat Mainz.
Zerafa responded in the comments, humorously stating “I bet this is the year we make it to the final on the 30th of May.”
Rodrick Zerafa is the EU Funds CEO, and confirmed he will be contesting for the general election earlier this month.
Being from Ħaż-Żabbar, Zerafa will be contesting in the 2nd and 5th districts.
