Person Who Vandalised Mirror In Swieqi Paid Damanges & Faces Deportation

Swieqi’s Deputy Mayor, Jordan Galea Pace, reported that the person who vandalised the mirror in Swieqi a while back has admitted to their actions.
The person also paid for the damages and has now been referred to the Office for Immigration to face the appropriate deportation procedures.
“This is the result when residents, the council and police work together,” explained Galea Pace.
“The message is clear,” he stated, “If you come to Malta and respect our country, we will welcome you with open arms.”
“If you choose to disrespect our country and break the law, a fine, and according the gravity of the case and what the law allows, bye,” he continued.
“Enough is enough.,” he concluded.
