Person Suffering From Heatstroke Rescued From Għar Lapsi

Yesterday afternoon a person suffered from heat stroke at Għar Lapsi, requiring assistance from the Civil Protection Department and a medical team from Mater Dei hospital.
Rescuers from Stations 1 and 5 responded to the call for medical attention.
The casualty was assessed on site before being transferred to hospital by ambulance for further treatment.
