Person Rescued After Falling & Hitting Their Head At Blata L-Bajda

Yesterday afternoon, Civil Protection Malta was informed that an individual required medical assistance after suffering a head injury following a fall from a standing height at Blata l-Bajda, limits of Selmun.

‘A coordinated rescue operation between the Civil Protection Department and the Armed Forces of Malta was immediately launched.’

The casualty was assisted by an AFM rescuer and transported by a CPD land asset to a safe and accessible location. The casualty was then handed over to the ambulance crew waiting at Fort Campbell for further medical care.
