MasterChef Malta judge Pawlu Borg Bonaci has shared the heartbreaking news that his father passed away on his own birthday, describing his final moments as peaceful and beautiful.
In an emotional social media post, Borg Bonaci revealed that his father died at around 11.15pm on October 18th, moments after the two watched a Masterchef episode together.
Despite the pain of losing his father, the judge said the moment brought an unexpected sense of peace, as he whispered his final words of love and promised to take care of their family.
He described his father as a loving, devoted and honourable man whose memory he will carry forever.
