Partit Momentum Demand Transparency Over Secret DCG Surveys

Partit Momentum are calling for transparency over a confidentiality agreement obscuring the results of surveys about the Daphne Caruana Galizia assassination.
In July 2021, a secrecy pact was signed between Tumas Group’s Raymond Fenech, University of Malta Professor Vincent Marmara, and Sagalytics Ltd. agreeing not to publish or share any survey results without consent from the company Sagalytics Ltd.
Momentum Leader Prof. Arnold Cassola has shared that Vincent Marmara is the sole registered director of Sagalytics Ltd., despite Retired Judge Geoffrey Valenzia declaring a legal distinction between his academic role and the company.
Cassola questions this conflict of interest, asking “What is the difference between the person of University Academic Prof. Vincent Marmara Jekyll and the sole director of Sagalytics Ltd., Prof. Vincent Marmara Hyde?”
The party also questioned Tumas Group’s Raymond Fenech’s motive for signing this secrecy pact and knowing the public’s opinion on the Caruana Galizia case.
Momentum say that transparency in these situations is important “if trial are meant to search for truth and justice.”
