Partit Momentum Claim Election Street Campaign Poster Removed By Cleansing Department

Partit Momentum has launched its election street campaign, but one of its banners on Santa Venera Bridge was removed shortly after being put up by the Cleansing Department.

The party said this raises concerns about fairness in the democratic process, arguing that smaller political parties face clear disadvantages during elections.

It claimed that while government messaging dominates public spaces, smaller parties struggle to gain even basic visibility.

Momentum said it remains committed to fair participation and equal opportunity in politics, and will not be discouraged by the incident.

Despite being one of the youngest political parties in Malta, it said it will continue engaging with the public and advocating for a more balanced and democratic system.
