As part of the Notte Bianca 2025 celebrations, the Maltese Parliament opened its doors to the public last night, offering visitors a rare opportunity to explore one of the nation’s most significant institutions up close.

Guests were invited to tour key areas of the building, including the Parliament Hall, the meeting rooms used by Members of Parliament, and several public spaces. The open evening provided an engaging insight into the workings of Malta’s legislative body and the daily responsibilities of those who serve within it.

Speaker of the House of Representatives, Anglu Farrugia, and Opposition Whip Robert Cutajar welcomed visitors personally, discussing Parliament’s ongoing work and answering questions about current initiatives. Farrugia also expressed his gratitude to the public for their interest and participation.

Throughout the evening, Parliament staff were stationed around the building to offer information and guidance, ensuring that visitors left with a greater understanding of the institution’s role in Malta’s democracy.
