The parents of beautiful Amy and Nathan have taken to social media to share their gratitude for Puttinu Cares, and everyone else who cared for their children in their time of need.

Amy was diagnosed with a rare and aggressive form of cancer and required a leg amputation to save her life.

“We were filled with fear, uncertainty, endless hospital visits and heartbreaking decisions no parent ever imagines facing,” shared Amy’s parents, “Hearing those words broke our hearts, but we knew we had to find the strength to help our little girl fight the biggest battle of her life.”

Puttinu were there every step of the way, offering much more than just a place to stay when little Amy needed surgery abroad, they continued.

“This is why the Good Friday Telethon means so much to families like ours. Right now, somewhere, another family is hearing news that will change their lives forever. Puttinu Cares is the hope that helps them through the darkest moments,” they concluded.

Similarly, young Nathan was diagnosed with leukaemia. His parents shared that it is incredibly difficult, but the kindness of those around them is what’s pushing them through.

They extended their gratitude to hospital staff and Puttinu.

“The beautiful gifts from Puttinu Cares and the smiles you bring to his face mean more to us than words can ever say. You have truly lifted his spirits and reminded us that we are not alone in this journey,” they stated.

Lots of love to Amy, Nathan, and their families from the MaltaDaily team, and a big thank you to Puttinu!
