Local eatery PANINA visited the Luqa barracks with food as a gesture of appreciation for all the hard work put in by the Armed Forces of Malta during Storm Harry.

AFM shared their gratitude on their social media, thanking Kurt and the whole team for their kind act.

“This gesture was offered as a token of appreciation to our servicemen and women who worked long and demanding hours last Tuesday during Storm Harry,” they stated.

“We would also like to commend our soldiers for their impeccable work, dedication, and professionalism shown throughout the operation,” concluded AFM.

PANINA was also offering a free croissant and coffee to all essential service workers who braved Storm Harry on Tuesday.

“If you’re working today within the localities of Fgura, St Venera, Gżira, Naxxar, or Żebbuġ, and your duties already place you near one of our outlets, we’d like to offer you a coffee and a croissant on us as a small token of appreciation’, they wrote in a social media post.
