Ozzy Lino’s 48-Hour Singathon Well Underway

Ozzy Lino’s 48-Hour Singathon is well underway at the Esplora Planetarium Hall, Villa Bighi in Kalkara, bringing together music, endurance and community spirit for a meaningful cause.
The unique live music marathon sees Lino performing continuously for 48 hours, singing every song himself while being joined by a rotating line-up of guest singers and musicians. Audiences are invited to attend live, sing along, or donate in support of organisations that work tirelessly within the community.
One of the highlights of the first day was the performance by the Malta National Children’s Choir, who took to the stage yesterday evening. In a post following their appearance, the choir emphasised the power of music to unite people, offer comfort and create hope, noting that every voice raised was dedicated to making a positive difference in the lives of others.
The event offers several ways for the public to contribute, including SMS and phone-in donations at fixed amounts, reinforcing the message that every contribution matters. Supporters are also encouraged to share the initiative to help spread awareness.
As the Singathon continues, the focus remains firmly on using music as a force for good, with strong public participation already highlighting the impact of this ambitious and heartfelt initiative.
