Owen Leuellen Sent Home After Surprise Elimination From X Factor Malta

Maltese rapper Owen Leuellen was sent home after a surprise elimination from X Factor Malta, failing to make it to the semi-finals alongside the 6 other artists and performers.

Owen was eliminated after a tense sing-off against rising star Miguel Bonello, who received more public votes than the renowned rapper.

The X Factor Malta: Back To Win Semi Final will be held this Wednesday with the 6 semi-finalists being Miguel Bonello, Amelia Kalabic, Lapes & Nadine, Lisa Gauci, Jasmine Abela and Shanice Micallef.

Taking to social media after the surprise elimination, Leuellen’s X Factor Malta mentor, Amber, praised him for consistently delivering joy and exceptional performances week after week. She added that she believed Owen deserved a place in the final and that neither he nor Miguel should have had to face off in such a high-stakes sing-off. She concluded her heartfelt post by teasing fans, hinting that they can expect new material from Owen very soon.
