Overwhelming Response To Planning Authority’s ‘Irrestawra Darek’ Grant Scheme

The Planning Authority is pleased to announce the successful conclusion of the Irrestawra Darek 2026 grant scheme for Reġjun Punent, following an exceptionally strong response from the public.

Within just four days, the scheme was fully subscribed and oversubscribed, with applications exceeding the regional allocation available. This remarkable level of interest clearly reflects both the success of the scheme and the strong demand for restoration and conservation support within the region.

The Planning Authority sincerely thanks all applicants from Reġjun Punent for their enthusiasm and active participation, which has contributed to the positive outcome of this initiative.

A new application window will open shortly for the next region in line. The Planning Authority will issue a public announcement with the relevant dates and details once the next regional phase will be open to receive expressions of interest.
