Over €20,000 Worth Of Drugs Seized After Raid In San Gwann

Last Friday, the Malta Police arrested two men and a woman following weeks of surveillance on a suspected drug trafficking network.

The operation culminated in a raid at a residence in San Ġwann, where officers discovered approximately 300 grams of cocaine packaged for sale, along with various drug-related items.

Two vehicles, a Mercedes and a Porsche Cayenne, were also seized as part of the ongoing investigation.

In a related search at another residence in Valletta, belonging to one of the suspects, police recovered around €6,000 in cash and a quantity of jewellery believed to be proceeds from illegal activity.

The total value of the drugs confiscated is estimated to exceed €20,000.

Magistrate Dr Monica Borg Galea LL.D is leading the inquiry, and the three individuals are expected to be charged in court later today.
