Over €14,000 In Just 4 Hours As James Ryder Raises Money For Cat Shelter

Over €14,000 have already been donated to local comedian James Ryder as he raises money for Careers for Stray and Abandoned Felines (CSAF).

The shelter experienced a 20 hour power cut in the extreme heat, leaving many cats at extreme risk of medical complications, if not outright death.

CSAF cares for around 300 to 400 cats, and warned that the heatwave, coupled with the power cuts, is making it difficult for the animals.

Ryder shared a video urging people to donate so that this can be avoided and the shelter has what it needs to sustain the animals.

‘The generator drive for CSAF is officially underway. I spoke to them and they’ll need a 10K Watt generator. Even 10c, is 10c we can save them from spending and give straight back to the cats.
