Over 80% Of Maltese People Concerned With Uncontrolled Migration

A survey by the European Parliament revealed that 81% of Maltese people are concerned by uncontrolled immigration in the country.
This is higher than the concern across all of the European Union, marking at 65%.
The survey revealed that Maltese people are also strongly concerned by cyber-attacks on Malta from foreign, non-EU countries, with data showing that this is a concern for 80%.
Other concerns brought up in the survey detailed, fake content due to AI, hate speech, data protection, and threats to freedom of speech.
Despite this, 85% of Maltese citizens are optimistic about their future and that of their families.
