Over 76,300 Birth, Marriage & Death Certificates Issued In Malta In 2025

Identità has published its 2025 Annual Report, highlighting a year of technological investment for more efficient and accessible services.
The agency released 76,357 birth, marriage and death certificates, as well as 14.5 million eID transactions.
4,028 local births were registered, along with 3,838 local deaths.
A record of 103,237 eID cards were also issued, along with 53,690 new passports issued.
222,525 seach orders were also processed, along with 82,795 notes registered. 474 Emergency Travel documents were also issued.
