Over 45 Vehicles Stopped In Road Checks In St Paul’s Bay

Yesterday, police continued with their routine traffic controls in Triq Burmarrad, St Paul’s Bay, and saw over 45 vehicles stopped.

During inspections, 31 persons were detained after they were found to be living in the country illegally, another two were found to be driving without a valid license and six other drivers were reported for various other road rule breaches.

Assisting the Malta Police Force were officials from Transport Malta, the Detention Services Agency, Identity Malta and JobsPlus.

Such work is set to continue in the coming days and weeks.
