Over 400 University Of Malta Drop-Outs During 2025/6 Academic Year

According to information tabled in parliament, the total number of students who stopped attending a course at the University of Malta during the 2025/26 academic year was 429 students.
Minister for Education Byron Camilleri also revealed that there were 101 drop-outs from Junior College during the same year.
77 of these students were in their first year and 24 students were in their second year. Meanwhile, 49 students discontinued their studies at Giovanni Curmi Higher Secondary.
