Over 3,800 Parking Bays Reserved For Blue Badge Holders Across Malta

In a parliamentary question, Opposition MP Graziella Galea asked the Minister for Transport, Infrastructure and Public Works, Chris Bonett, to provide details on the number of reserved blue parking bays currently designated by Transport Malta. She also requested information on how many of these bays are personalised (linked to a number plate or Blue Badge registration number).
In his reply, Minister Bonett stated that there are currently a total of 3,860 reserved parking spaces for individuals holding a Blue Badge. Out of these, 1,989 are common bays, which can be used by any Blue Badge holder, while 1,871 are personalised bays reserved for specific individuals.
